Jamie Murray

Jamie will play with Michael Venus (NZL) in 2023. Guess there could be a bit more tennis exposure in the NZ press depending on how they get on.

Thanks for that , FW/BB, a good partner for Jamie to have. Hes ranked 15 so could give them a chance of a seeding spot in Aussie Open?

With early losses for others, Jamie looks like he is back in the live doubles top 20 and well positioned to stay there once Shanghai is done, looks like there is only really 1 behind him who can overtake him this week. Hes live 19th this morning.

Plaudits for plugging away, hes certainly worked hard with little fanfare in doing it.

Jamie has been named as the Tournament Director for Queens in 2024. It does mean he won't be playing, but he has expressed an interest in the events side of tennis.

I was really pleased to see this.

There's a lot of tennis players who I think are not suited to move across to the 'management' side of things

But Jamie has shown in that Scotland v England/Wales thing he organised (and wasn't there the other things during covid?) that he's really rather good at this sort of thing

Good luck to him

If he could organise free entry to qualifiers again, that would be appreciated, Jamie !
