Just looking at the WTA race points on the WTA site itself, the above was indeed fake news from the live-tennis site.
The first counting Monday was as I'd originally expected yesterday, 12/11.
Harriet has 0 race points but congrats to Emma Raducanu, GB race #1 and World joint #48 with her 18 points from her Wirral SF added in yesterday
In the doubles race Freya Christie & Valeria Savinykh are joint #10 pair.

Obviously Harriets mum is a more than decent player. I think we may see a burst of activity, I am right she will move to the 50 and over age group in 2019. Ie one becomes eligible in the year you turn 50.
