With clay being her favourite surface could Emily be our first French Open winner since Sue Barker, I wonder? If so, with those A levels she'll hopefully be able to give her victory speech in the local language and know how to use her winnings wisely!
Emily was in the Sky studio at the O2 between the doubles and singles matches today. Came over as very sensible, enjoying her tennis life and said she's been using a psychological coach for the past 3 months. She was getting advice from Annabel & Greg on making sure she maintains current friendships, keeps interests outside of tennis and concentrates on the big picture, not necessarily results at this stage.
Emily's latest skysports scholar update, on playing in puddles and against #1 seeds, and looking forward to the grass... She will be in the draw somewhere at Surbiton.
Not really sure what this means but according to the Live Rankings site, Emily is top of the ITF Transition Tour Shadow rankings (if that is what they are) in doubles
