So do we think Emma is going to play again this year?

Apparently Emma's out of Hong Kong now, so guessing that might be it for the season? Reckon she'll still play BJK finals?

I dont think she will TBH. She has landed well for the end of the season in the 0/60 ish. She couldnt get much higher, so best to prepare for next year and the AO.

Starting to think she's just not committed to her game.
I might be wrong but if she doesn't play a proper schedule next year then she will never fulfill all that talent.
Is it a case of enough money and fame already to not be that hungry anymore.

Maybe it's just a case of living her life the way she wants and her win allows her to do that.

Who knows?  I doubt she even knows.  She says the right things but this latest injury is unfortunate and tricky to clear up.  I think it possible she will try to play. Whether she should or not is a different matter. If she does play she will have played virtually no match play tennis since Wimbledon and can't be match fit. It is these sort of circumstances that can lead to more injuries.

I think she could pack up for the year relatively happy with how things have gone though there have been some poor performances among the better ones.  I think her best tennis was actually played in the BJK cup where she pretty much single handedly pulled GB through.

On the contrary. They did their job well. They got you to click. Another page view. Job done. It doesn't matter what the actual "story" is.
The sooner people stop clicking on cllckbait links, which is what any "story" in a Reach "news" masthead is, especially the express, the sooner they'll stop and start writing news again. I know it's never going to happen.

I refuse to read it on The Express !

Partly because it's The Express, say no more.

But also because it won't let you unless you accept all their cookies. Which I won't.

But if you type in the same headline, it comes up on other papers too - so I read it on The Irish Star, which was also on MSN

Which, somehow, to me, seems better

But probably isn't
