So - now that the SCOTUS has ruled that the President has immunity from prosecution for anything that he does in an official capacity, could Mr Biden have all other Presidential candidates assassinated by Seal team 6? Or maybe only the other presidential candidates that are threatening to undermine democracy?

... to say nothing of Supreme Court judges - I suppose that he could officially have them shot too.

This is why the Republicans win - they will do things that the Democrats think are unthinkable.

Its a stunning decision and puts democracy at risk. I see the hush money case sentencing is now being delayed to allow the judge to review the impact of the decision on both the case itself and the sentencing.

I must say that I think that that was in remarkably poor taste. That said, while I in no way condone what happened, I'd have shed no tears if the gunman had been more accurate. The wretched man has done nothing but fan the flames & encourage his supporters to take the law into their own hands to show their displeasure at his loss of the 2020 presidential election/failure to accept the result, not least through his actions before & after the attack on the US Capitol Building in January 2021. He certainly doesn't deserve martyrdom.

And I see the documents handling case has now been dismissed. That leaves us with Jan 6 (surely he will get off that following the Supreme Court ruling?) and the New York case, in which he is now being sentenced in September?

I wonder were the Democrats will end up re Biden - I have to say there is no way he should be President for 4 more years, so i hope they find a way of persuading him to accede and let someone else take the Democrat nomination. Who doesnt really matter to me, just that Biden cant stand

Dismissed on a 'legal technicality' by the judge who was appointed by Trump. Lot's of legal people in social media saying that if this case sets a basis for precedent, then lots of other cases will have to be dropped or decisions overturned, including the recent case against Hunter Biden.
