On the women's side we will be able to compare Amelia's progress with Esther, the latter is playing a W15 in Tunisia currently through to QF relatively comfortably.

I think if Esther is going to forge a career in the pro game it will be in doubles. I don't think she'll make much progress in singles. But we'll see how she does in her singles SF which will be the first real test of the week.
Of the others not returning to college, I'm interested in seeing how Vic Allen goes in pro tennis. I don't know whether Angelica is planning on going pro.
* At Wimbledon this year, 30 players with ties to NCAA programs will be featured in the mens and womens main draws. This marks the highest number of collegians in a Grand Slam draw this calendar year as 29 players with college ties were featured in the French Open singles main draws, while 27 players with college ties were featured in the Australian Open singles main draws.*
Hoping for some great wins for the Brits ( see mens thread) I think Charlie can beat Stan - hes 39 and not won much recently or played a single match on grass this year! Cams not having much luck recently, hoping the crowd will lift him.# backtheBrits

My understanding is that Angelica is having a break for a month or so . She had a year that was quite disrupted by injuries and wants to get back in physical shape. But yes she intends to give the pro circuit a go.
