I wonder if Heather will withdraw from Roehampton as she is still in UAE playing doubles.

Just her and Lily in the main draw plus 4 WC, who I assume will be Hannah K, Mimi, Mika and Ranah

Reasonable enough, I guess, for Ranah and Mimi to only get quali WCs - Mimi will be counting hers so it's not always obvious she'd want to use one up here

Hannah turns 15 next week so this is her using up her very last 14 year-old WC

Wonder where Mika is at the moment with her tennis? She's still on the Roehampton entry list

Pleased that Katy Dunne and Beth managed to push a couple of the youngsters out though - we need to support the older ones too

Katy Dunne, Sarah Beth Grey and 14-year-old Hannah Klugman all have wild cards into the main draw.

There will be more British stars contesting in the qualifiers as well, including Eden SilvaEliz Maloney and Freya Christie alongside wild cards Isabelle LacyMimi XuRanah Stoiber and Alice Gillan.

Only isabelle needed a QWC in the end. Brooke Black and Bronte Murgett got the remainder.

We know Beth, Katy and Hannah K have 3 of the 4 wildcards.
It is not obvious, who has the fourth...

Mimi, Ranah and Alice have all make qualifying as of right so the WCs have gone to Isabelle, Bronte Murgett and Brooke Black

Just for those who like to keep tabs on where our players are, Felix Gill is at Roehampton this week (or he was yesterday, at least)

As was Olivia Nicholls (although not playing at the J50)

I'd have been concerned if Liv was allowed to play the J50!

She's a very youthful looking young lady
