 too late - entries are fixed now. Presumably one of the low ranked doubles players with a singles ranking will get in - Habib got one yesterday after Sinner withdrew and he is ranked below 200 by some distance.

 Best call but he isnt depriving another Brit as no Brits can take his place - I believe he will be replaced by a lower ranked doubles player who is in the Olympics already.

Vavassori (ranked 202) and Hady Habib (ranked 259) got in to singles yesterday as doubles replacements for Sinner and Hurkacz who withdrew; not sure Andy's replacement is known yet but it could only be Salisbury and Skupski from Brits and they dont have singles rankings, so cant see them getting in unless the field collapses!!

In the men's doubles, no. 5 seeds Joe & Neal have got Machac / Pavlasek CZE in R1, while Dan & Andy will play Nishikori / Daniel JPN.

In the women's doubles, Katie & Heather have drawn Kerber (who has just announced that this will be her last event) / Siegemund GER.

I like Joe and Neal's route, got a chance of going a long way there. Dan and Andy could get a win or two if they play like they can.

Katie bumps up against Haddad Maia in doubles r2 as well as singles r2

Joe and Hev could face Fritz/Gauff or Rybakina/Bublik r2.
