If this was on hard I'd have really liked Katie's draw. But it's not, so will be a good experience!

Joe/Hev could win a medal or go out in straight sets in round 1. Hard to tell.

Looks like Matt Ebden got the Murray slot; Ebden is unranked in singles. And he has drawn Djokovic in round one; which means Andy would have got Djoko in round one. Probably best he pulled out although that would have been an ideal match up to finish on!

 Pessimist: beating Mr Djokovic would probably have taken Mr Murray (A) through to play Mr Nadal - that would have been a fitting run to end on!

Re big names pulling out, in the womens singles   first it  was Rybakina followed by her replacement Saville. She was replaced by Sara Errani who joins that small list of players who have played singles in 5 Olympics.

Tournament starts on Saturday 27/07 with Jack, Cam Dan and Katie all in action. I've started a thread in the women's section for results etc.

 All the men on the same court, 6 , tomorrow. Katie on court 11.

Jack v Kei and Cam v Griekspoor both feel winnable but equally, very easily ones they could both lose!

Never, ever, heard of the Tunisian that Dan plays and got to hope Evo can win that?

Katie and Schmiedlova feels fifty fifty - the TNNS app rates Katie as 53% win chance, but on clay?
