I thought about nominating Ruben Harris for winning the boys wheelchair doubles. But it was just a one off match, and he had lost his semi in the singles so although noteworthy, I didnt think it took him into PoM nomination territory, but a nice congrats on winning the match/final!
1 Erin Pearce - winning the singles AND the doubles title at the J60 in Edinburgh
2 Hollie Smart - aged 14, won the Sweden J100 doubles ( wirh Ruby Cooling ) and reached the singles final, along the way beating the top seed JWR 134 plus additional top 200 and top 300 players.
3 Neal Skupski - for keeping the British flag flying at Roland Garros by reaching the French Open mixed doubles final with partner Desirae Krawczyk..
To nominate or not to nominate. That is the question. And you all know who I am talking about.
Let's see how he gets on in the SF first, but may be worth a nomination already.
Worthy of note is Jan Choinski, whos run in Germany is as impressive but maybe less visible than Billys. Jan often gets less noticed , maybe playing less visible events, but hes having a great week this week.
