It feels like a lot of these players could well do something extra this week or next to make the difference; as it stands, I would be torn several ways, due to some marvellous performances, so need one of them to do it all again and more!

Thanks, it's beginning to get unwieldy on my phone!
Haha, I know!
If we reach 21 noms, I will split the vote into two rounds of voting, so the voting will become slightly easier! Could well happen as it is only a few more and we have the end of this week and a full week to go!
17. Andy Murray for winning his 1000th match and at Queens, becoming only the 5th man to do so.
Hi Blue_Belle, I was wondering where you got your stats for Andy. From what I'm seeing, it looks like he's played 1000 ATP matches (and won 739 of them). And he's (I think) the 7th player to play 1000 ATP matches, although the 5th of currently active players.
(Other records I'm looking at suggest others e.g Connors have played more professional matches but a chunk of those must have been pre-ATP or not ATP.)
It's still a fantastic achievement from Andy, of course!

Out of interest who are the other 4 currently active players?

Wikipedia (yes, yes, I know, it's wikipedia, which was why I checked at least some of the stats elsewhere) tells me it's Djokovic, Nadal, Verdasco and Gasquet. The other two listed with more than 1000 matches played are Federer and Ferrer.
