What a horrible draw for Billy/Paul.

Also, re the title of this thread, this is an ATP 500 not a 250.

Sorry about that.  I made a point of checking as I was preparing the post, but still forgot to amend the autofill!    Now corrected.

Disappointed Paul won as Billy has a real chnace to make it to the top 100 now Paul not so much now but maybe in the next few months-year

Paul is at live 197 and could take out his CH this week. Good to share it around - seeing Billy, Jake, Paul, Charles all doing well is very positive. Billys played a lot and maybe a week off isnt a bad thing - plus good money for Paul if he can get a few wins.

Really hope Liam can take out Atmane now.

That was my first reaction too. I guess Harris still has plenty of opportunities to rise up the rankings though

That was a rotten draw, but well done, Paul, and bad luck, Billy.

(Agree that, frustrating as it may be for him, it might not do Billy too much harm to have a week off, and I'm sure that top 100 ranking is coming.)

Yep.  I'm with you on that one - no surprise there.

Billy is down for a couple of Challengers in the next few weeks.  A decent run at one of those might do the trick.  Let's hope so.  Billy has still never won a Challenger.

We shouldnt dismiss the way Paul has worked his way back this past 12 months or so. Not as rapid a rise as Billy but very solid and continually forwards.

The points from doing well at a 500 could be massive so I hope he makes more progress.
